How To Set a Restore Point
Go to start.....All Programs.....Accessories....System tools.....System Restore
...Create A Restore Point.....Next......Type in Description(free security)..Create.
That should now have set your restore point.
If the rare event that any of your downloads should go wrong, you will have to restore your computer, this is what you do.
Go to start.....All Programs.....Accessories....System tools.....System Restore
...Restore My Computer To An Earlier Time.......Next......Click On Calender Or
Description.(free security)..
Now your computer should be set to an earlier date, before your downloads.
How To Do A Disk Cleanup
This procedure will clean cookies, temporary internet files and other junk of your computer.
Go to start...All Programs...Accessories...System tools...Disk Cleanup...Drive C
.......OK.....(wait for the scan, This might take a few minutes to complete).....
Tick all the boxes....OK......yes That procedure is then finished.
How To Do A Disk Defragmentation
This procedure will compress all your files, but be warned it can take from one
hour to over six hours depending on how many files you have got on your
computer. It will be worth the wait because your computer should run faster.
Go to start...All Programs...Accessories...System tools...Disk Defragmenter....
Analyze...Defragment.
A notice might come up saying "You do not need to defragment this volume."
I usually ignore this and do it about once every two weeks to a month.
